The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating CAMRIS International’s human resources policies and programs covering employment, labor/employee relations, compensation and benefits, training/career development, employee services, workforce planning, performance management.



  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs; employee relations, counseling and exit interviewing; write and place advertisements—within home office and abroad.
  • Conduct interviews for potential hires with the technical staff.
  • Conduct reference checks for potential hires.
  • Write and maintain position descriptions for CAMRIS vacancies.


Human Resources

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and controlling all activities of the HR Team, including hiring, termination and processing of CAMRIS staff.
  • Participate in developing HR Team goals, objectives, and systems.
    • Coordinate work activities relating to employment, compensation, employee relations, and performance management.
    • Assist with the administration all corporate benefits in collaboration with Administrative staff; health, dental, life and 401 K plans.
    • Update policies and procedures, and educate managers regarding compliance accordingly.
    • Provide assistance for employees and consultants regarding any Human Resource issue.
    • Coordinate all unemployment matters (hearings and fillings).

Establish a HR Unit that aligns human capital with organizational and client goals.

  • Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s vision and strategic vision.
  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall firm business objectives.
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
  • Working with the firm’s executive management, establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the firm.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefit plans that are competitive and cost effective for the company.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training and leadership development, compensation and benefits.
  • Business Development – Enhance CAMRIS’ market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships for the provision of institutional support contractor services to client and partner organizations.
  • HR Service Delivery – Lead the development, design and delivery of HR services, including recruiting/talent acquisition, on-boarding, HR administration, performance management, workforce planning and optimization, succession planning, staff development, temporary services; pay roll, time & attendance, cost accounting, payroll tax compliance, invoicing; compensation and benefits management (salary setting, life insurance, health insurance, retirement/401K, health accounts), workforce management, EEO compliance, unemployment insurance claims, worker compensation claims, small business, compliance; facility security, travel and financing.
  • Strategic Advisor – Support activities focused on the formulation and implementation of the firm’s strategy. Develop company strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; lead organization strategic thinking and direction with information, analysis, and recommendations to establish human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Talent Strategist/Architect – Identify and build the human capital critical for the company and client organizations.
  • Counselor/Confidante/Coach - Counsel, coach, and resolve interpersonal or political conflicts among executive team members.
  • Workforce Sensor - Identify workforce engagement/morale issues or concerns and build employee engagement. Promote human resource values by planning and managing human resources programs both at Home Office and field offices (including overseas).
  • Employee Development – Develop career and leadership development opportunities that enhance recruitment, as well as the commitment and retention of the highest caliber professional staff. Ensure effective selection of training organizations and seminars. Develop planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and ensure processes for addressing shortcomings. Develop leadership and management development programs that support overall departmental and executive succession planning processes.
  • Represents the Company - Activities with external stakeholders, such as lobbying, speaking to outside groups, etc.
  • Maintain current understanding of State, Federal, and local legislation including standards from ERISA, OFCCP and OSHA.

  • Proficient computer skills: (including MS word, MS Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS Visio and the ability to learn new products as needed).
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and/or on a team.
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, training and retention.




Required Education/Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree and five years' Human Resources experience, OR
  • A master's degree in Human Resources Management and four (3) years’ experience in the HR field, OR
  • Eight years’ experience in the HR field, OR
  • Any appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • Current working knowledge of employment law and regulations including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, PPACA, Section 125 and unemployment and labor laws.


Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and regular hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.


Travel: No travel is expected.
