Topsail seeks a Jr Recruiter to work from its St. Petersburg, FL office location. The Recruiter will be primarily responsible for balancing short versus long term recruitment efforts. The Recruiter must implement effective, timely recruitment strategies, building a pool of high quality consultants, but also rapidly recruit positions in response to client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and manage the recruitment and qualified candidate development processes
  • Develop relationships candidates and walk them through the hiring process.
  • Assist management to conduct performance reviews to ensure that each driving associate is performing at their highest capability
  • Partner with Lead Recruiters and hiring managers to assure consistency with business goals, filling positions in a timely manner.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure they provide the appropriate information for open positions.
  • Screen potential candidates to ensure they meet employment and position qualifications.
  • Record and communicate recruiting updates and metrics to hiring managers and various stakeholders.
  • Engage social media to market positions and enhance Internet Brands' online presence.
  • Keep up-to-date and informed regarding recruiting best practices, trends, social media tools, industry standards, and competition.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Independent thinking and problem-solving skills

Bare Minimum Qualifications:

  • Extremely computer savvy and quick minded
  • Medium to advanced skills in social media and internet search (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc)
  • Associate’s degree in business, management, marketing, logistics, supply chain, or any related field
